SYDNEY WHITCOMB
Sydney Whitcomb is a graduate of Wake Forest University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Studio Art. She recently earned her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies at the Wake Forest School of Medicine and currently practices at Boston Children’s Hospital.
Her previous work displays a variety of environmental issues with an emphasis on problems affecting aquatic ecosystems. Using vibrant colors and unsettling imagery, she seeks to capture the beauty of the ocean while drawing attention to the problems that plague it. Her more recent work highlights fond memories of growing up on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
